Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, The Abbey Road Sessions brings together New Life, Time, and Beautiful as three distinct recordings connected by a shared production approach. The EP combines classic songwriting structures with contemporary sound design, layered vocals, and arrangements that give the electric bass a prominent musical role without pulling attention away from the songs.

New Life draws from 1960s pop and psychedelic rock, using vocal harmonies, horns, synthesizers, and a distorted bass solo to frame a lyric about renewal and change. Time takes a more reflective direction, examining separation, memory, and the way distance alters perspective. Its melodic fretless bass work becomes part of the song’s narrative rather than functioning as a separate display of technique. Beautiful shifts into electronic, house, and club-influenced production while questioning modern standards of appearance and the pressures surrounding self-image.

Although the three songs move through different styles, the EP remains connected by its emphasis on melody, detailed vocal arrangements, and bass performances that operate as both rhythm and lead.
